As a draftsman, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Drafting industrial steel projects in collaboration with fellow draftsmen;
- Reviewing and completing existing plans as needed;
- Providing advice during the conceptual phase;
- Taking safety, materials, dimensions, and other factors into account;
- Processing changes and updating drawings to meet customer requirements;
- Aiming for innovation and continuous improvement;
- Preparing project documentation;
- Managing drawing software and ensuring everything is up to date.
Our client is looking for an experienced draftsman in the metal industry with the following qualifications:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent experience in drafting, engineering, or a similar field.
- At least three years of experience working as a draftsman.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Someone who can work well on their own but also enjoys being part of a team.
- Great at staying organized, solving problems, and keeping things moving smoothly.
- Calm and efficient, even when things get busy.
- A proactive thinker with a sense of responsibility and an eye for innovation.
- Accuracy and attention to detailyou notice the little things that matter.
- Solid knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
- Familiarity with tools like X-Steel, Trimble, or Tekla.
