The Category Leader (CL) Manufacturing Services has the major responsibility for the assigned sub-categories (MRO, warehouse, machinery, automation, CAPEX) in Poland. Category leader is responsible to push projects in the assigned category forward to generate additional value to management risk, fulfil sustainability targets and facilitate innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Manufacturing & Indirect Services to develop category strategies in alignment with overall strategy, align strategies with Stakeholder and get them approved from GPLT.
- Manage assigned categories, to conduct tender processes with national and international suppliers using our e-sourcing tools.
- Conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers both in English and Polish.
- Leveraging supplier resources for optimising value delivery through total cost savings and innovation, sustainability, and managing risk.
- Responsible for strategic supplier management by measuring and reviewing supplier performance on annual basis.
- Perform Business partnering with Key Stakeholders in Poland.
- Connecting and communicating with the TwiningsOvo and ABF procurement network.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 3 years of procurement experience in a FMCG manufacturing business.
- Degree level education.
- Fluency in English and Polish (written & verbal).
- Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Services categories.
- Experience in SAP and Ariba Guided Buying and E-Sourcing would be an asset.
