The bank is part of the LGT Group, a global financial services provider.Job DescriptionWe're looking for a motivated Performance Engineer with a passion for performance testing and optimization to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-performing frontend solutions in a banking environment.🎯 ResponsibilitiesRegularly conduct performance, load, and stress tests on web applications to ensure compliance with defined SLAs.Analyze frontend performance using modern tools (such as Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Dynatrace) and browser developer tools.Identify performance bottlenecks across frontend, APIs, and infrastructure, and recommend improvements.Work closely with developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.Document test strategies, scenarios, and results, providing clear reporting for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Contribute to building a performance-first culture by coaching teams and incorporating testing early in the development lifecycle.Monitor production environments with real-user monitoring (RUM) and synthetic testing solutions.Proactively identify risks and potential degradations in application performance.Support troubleshooting of performance-related incidents across multiple system layers.🛠️ RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in performance testing, ideally in banking or financial services.Strong knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6).Experience with frontend monitoring frameworks and developer tools.Proficiency in scripting and test automation (JavaScript, Python, or similar).Familiarity with CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular).Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, caching, CDN, minification).Understanding of backend/API dependencies and their impact on frontend performance.Experience with cloud and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Excellent communication and reporting skills, able to interact confidently with both technical and business teams.Strong problem-solving mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively in an international team.➕ Nice to haveExperience in the banking sector or with secure, regulated environments.Familiarity with synthetic monitoring and observability solutions (New Relic, AppDynamics, Elastic APM).Knowledge of accessibility, security, and compliance standards in frontend applications.Benefits & Perks🏡Work from home🎓Training budget🕒Flexible schedule🏥Health insurance🍽Restaurant Ticket🏋️Gym discount🗣️Language lessonsWhat drives us?- User-Centric Digital Transformation: Creating user-friendly digital solutions that put people first.- Technological Excellence: Using the latest technology to deliver the best outcomes.- Collaboration & Cross-Border Synergy: Building strong connections across teams and locations to achieve great results- Talent Acquisition & Growth: Empowering our people to develop their skills and achieve their potential.
