You''ll help us improve, innovate, and develop new ways of working.We are now recruiting a Buying & Processing Specialist in Bastia Umbria, Perugia to join our Leaf Operations Department.Your purpose:Maintain the proper leaf production schedule while ensuring ongoing monitoring of process quality and performance. Support the Buying & Processing Coordinator during quality and visual inspections of packed leaf. Ensure proper processing controls in line with Leaf Best Practices and maintain internal records of activities. Assist in planning, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting regional and global processing strategies.Your ''day to day'':Plan, prepare, and support processing controls.Maintain assessment and reporting templates.Conduct detailed statistical data analysis to support decision-making.Perform preliminary verifications for Buying Stations preparation.Monitor green leaf moisture test results daily, identify trends, and escalate issues.Conduct weekly and monthly Best Practices controls.Support project execution and field visits.Project yield outcomes.Report daily production output by blend, comparing actual performance to standard sheets.Participate actively in leaf stock counts.Who we''re looking for:College/University Degree in Engineering, preferably in Agri-food technologies or Mechanical Engineering.Preferred 2 years of experience in Operations, manufacturing, or leaf processing.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in English.The role is based in our Leaf Department offices in Bastia Umbria (Perugia).
