As a Business Applications Analyst, you will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing our digital ecosystem across all production plants, ensuring seamless data flows, process improvements and actionable insights.

The function
  • You collaborate with production and quality teams to identify digitalization opportunities and translate them into innovative IT solutions.
  • You support digital transformation initiatives, such as predictive maintenance, operational dashboards, and advanced analytics.
  • You develop a strong understanding of ERP, MES, and data platforms to improve production and quality processes.
  • You ensure seamless data exchange between ERP, MES, and industrial platforms, following the IT/OT architecture, using protocols like MQTT, AMQP, and OPC-UA.
  • You contribute to the development of the manufacturing data platform and implement a Unified Namespace (UNS) approach.
  • You participate in IT projects within the manufacturing and quality domain, from business case intake to technical implementation.
  • To ensure successful project execution, you work closely with colleagues in the IT Competence Centre, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • You help drive LLBGs international growth by integrating new countries into the company-wide digital template.
  • Your primary workplace will be one of our offices in Belgium (Ninove, Haaltert, or Erpe-Mere), with occasional travel (15%) to international sites. You will be part of the corporate IT team and report to the Business Applications Manager Manufacturing.

    Your profile
  • You have a masters degree in engineering, IT, Business, or equivalent experience, with strong analytical skills in manufacturing IT, ERP, MES, or industrial data platforms.
  • You are familiar with Industry 4.0, ISA-95, and Unified Namespace (UNS) and have experience with databases like SQL and InfluxDB, as well as data tools such as Node-Red and Grafana.
  • You understand industrial communication protocols like MQTT, AMQP, and OPC-UA and have knowledge of cloud-based data architectures and AI-driven analytics.
  • You have experience in digital transformation, process optimization, and managing change within manufacturing environments.
  • You are fluent in English, and additional languages are a plus.
