About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded Product Director Colocation to lead the development and management of our colocation product line across Europe. This new role is key to driving our go-to-market success, streamlining internal processes, and ensuring our services evolve in line with customer needs and market trends.
As an individual contributor reporting to the VP Enabling Services, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Solution Architects, and Finance. Youll own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, leveraging customer insights, operational data, and market research to deliver compelling and scalable colocation services.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, scale-up environments and is ready to shape the future of colocation across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our colocation services.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify innovation opportunities and guide product evolution.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Solution Architects) to launch and enhance products.
Monitor customer feedback and product usage data to refine features, pricing models, and capacity planning.
Work with Operations to understand site-specific capabilities, identify implementation gaps, and align technical design requirements.
Set and evolve pricing strategies based on cost structures, capacity, and market demands.
Support the development of business cases and go-to-market initiatives.
Enable sales teams with training and materials to effectively position colocation services.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain a competitive product portfolio.
What were looking for
10+ years of product management experience in the data center, IT, or telecoms sector.
Proven knowledge of colocation services, data center infrastructure, and cloud integration.
Strong commercial and analytical acumen with the ability to develop pricing and business strategies.
Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, scaling environment.
Experience engaging with enterprise and platform customers across Europe.
Highly adaptable, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and nLighten offices across Europe.
