Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading metals producer looking to hire a port manager to join the team in Northwest Spain Key Responsibilities / Tasks * Organize, control, and manage the companys port in coordination with port authorities and administrative bodies. * Oversee maritime operations, including scheduling, safety, and environmental compliance. * Develop and enforce regulations, emergency plans, and safety protocols for the port. * Manage port services (e.g., pilotage, moorings, tugs) and ensure proper resource allocation and safety. * Promote staff training and monitor the continuous improvement of environmental management and safety. Key Qualifications / Experience * 5+ years of strong knowledge of shipping, maritime law, regulations, tugboats, cargo handling, and stowage. * Strong understanding of international regulations, maritime administration, safety measures, firefighting protocols, and environmental laws. * Minimum of a Technical Engineer/Graduate, Senior Engineer/Graduate preferred. * Fluency in Spanish and English is a requirement. * Located or willing to relocate to Northwest Spain.
