Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Interfacing with other engineering disciplines, Clients and other parties.
- Lead the mechanical discipline engineering group during the project. Plan, supervise and coordinate mechanical and project activities.
- Ensure that technical reviews are completed in a timely and complete manner.
- Ensure that all design aspects are in accordance with company specifications.
- Ensure consistent application of standards.
- Experience in technical bid evaluation and expediting.
Minimum requirements:
- 10 years experience in developing deliverables such as technical specifications, data sheets for static, rotating and packaged equipment from customer specifications and P&IDs, PFDs, design philosophies, etc.
- Experience in previous offshore substations in German waters under DNV-GL certification is a plus.
- Experience in reviewing third party technical documentation to ensure fulfilment of project requirements and coordination with other disciplines on EPC projects.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to work in a diverse cultural environment
