Job Description: Senior Sales Manager (Air & OceanFreight) Location: Italy (Flexible in terms of location) Our clientis an independent international freight forwarder who are growingin Italy, with strong ties to a global leader in the logisticsindustry, being part of a larger, well-established group. Whilethey maintain their autonomy, they leverage the resources, support,and scale of their parent company to drive growth and success intheir sector." This client is seeking a Senior Sales Manager fortheir expanding Air and Ocean Freight operations. As part of anexciting phase of growth, this company is looking for a hands-onsenior commercial manager who can work autonomously and drive thedevelopment of new verticals. This is an excellent opportunity foran ambitious individual who thrives in a dynamic environment andwants to play a key role in the expansion of a thriving logisticsbusiness. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Approach: Drive thedevelopment and growth of multiple products and freight salesstrategies, ensuring consistent business expansion in new andexisting markets. - Business Development: Establish and grow newverticals , contributing to the company''s ambition to expand itsfootprint in Italy. - Client Relationship Management: Build andmaintain strong relationships with key clients, including those inspecialised sectors such as food and beverage, project cargo,luxury goods, etc. - Team Leadership: Act as a senior figure in theoffice, supporting a small but growing team while fostering acollaborative and high-energy sales culture. - Market Expansion:Identify and pursue new business opportunities, across Italy, withhigh degree of flexibility with regards to regions of focus. -Collaboration with a global leader: Leverage your knowledge andsupport of a global leader to drive new business and support thecompany''s position in Italy and internationally. Qualifications: -Experience: Strong background in ocean freight, a background in airfreight is a plus, and any experience in road transport is alsobeneficial. - Specialisation: Experience or specialisation incertain verticals such as food and beverage, project cargo, orluxury goods would be advantageous. - Geographic Knowledge: Ideallybased in Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Genoa or Rome, with the ability togrow business in local territories. - Ambition & Ethos: Adriven, hands-on individual with the ambition to grow and leadwithin a rapidly expanding business.
