About the Role:
We are seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of commissioning activities across high-impact projects in the life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and project management expertise, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational readiness on every engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a zero-harm culture.
- Define and execute commissioning plans, schedules, and resourcing strategies to meet client timelines.
- Oversee commissioning and performance testing for building controls, HVAC, fire systems, and electrical infrastructure.
- Perform project risk assessments and lead proactive mitigation efforts.
- Monitor budget, track change orders, and report project progress (Earned Value, Cost Performance).
- Lead QA/QC processes and ensure full compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Capture and share project lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong project management skills; PMP or similar certification preferred.
- Familiarity with commissioning systems and procedures.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical PIDs.
- Proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, if required.
