The Lead PS Consultant will collaborate with other business consultants and the Delivery Leader of the PLM, reporting directly to the PLM Professional Service Team Manager. The candidate should leverage extensive experience, particularly in the fashion industry, to lead customer workshops and design technical solutions with the Delivery Leader. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, contributing to development, managing end-to-end testing, assisting with User Acceptance Tests, and supporting customer inquiries. The role offers involvement in all project stages, including supporting sales demonstrations, gathering requirements, and assisting the Project Manager with project planning.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate expertise in all PLM processes relevant to fashion companies.Assist Pre-Sales team with demo preparations and workshops to gather macro requirements and define project scope.Estimate overall project costs based on customer needs, including customization requests.Prepare or revise the Statement of Work for functional components for customer approval.Understand project scope, timelines, and objectives within the overall project portfolio.Support the Delivery Leader and Project Manager in developing project plans based on customer needs.Create comprehensive functional and technical documentation, such as Solution Designs.Apply best practices in design to aid the Delivery Leader in creating solutions that meet customer requirements.Utilize SQL skills to configure PLM or verify database information as needed.Conduct or oversee end-to-end testing to identify system issues and provide detailed guidance for fixes.Implement small fixes independently to facilitate User Acceptance Testing.Support and coordinate with customers on change requests.Skills and AbilitiesMinimum 5 years of experience as a Senior PLM Business Consultant or similar role with business process knowledge.Intermediate SQL proficiency.Fluent in English.Knowledge of Web Services and JSON is advantageous.Experience with Aptean PLM products (e.g., Model Form, TXT PLM SharePoint, Aptos PLM Evolve) is a plus.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.Proactive initiative-taking and problem-solving capabilities.Creative, team-oriented, and committed to delivering results.Ability to handle ambiguous problems and guide others.Strong troubleshooting skills, understanding business needs, and producing detailed documentation.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.AboutAptean is a leading provider of industry-specific software solutions for manufacturers and distributors, offering both cloud and on-premise deployment options.
