We are seeking an Associate with at least 2 years of experience in reinsurance accounting operations , ideally within Treaty business and across multiple lines of business. This is a full-time, hybrid work model .
Max Gross Annual Salary (RAL): 40,000
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an insurance company, reinsurance broker, or reinsurance firm
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret insurance/reinsurance contracts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Book transactions, issue invoices, handle collections, and cash allocation
- Support the Finance Manager in monthly financial reporting , payments, and cash-flow analysis
- Assist in internal and external audits , ensuring compliance with controls
- Collaborate with underwriters to review complex reinsurance transactions
- Manage technical accounts : commission adjustments, profit commissions, premium revisions
- Record and reconcile reinsurance payables and receivables in the general ledger
- Follow up on open balances with ceding companies
- Coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure all treaties are accurately accounted
- Participate in ad hoc projects and finance-related tasks
- Monitor and update brokerage revenue forecasts
