Medical Director, Europe - Rare Diseases & Osteoporosis

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Medical Director for Europe to lead our Medical Affairs function across the region. This is a pivotal role that bridges science and strategy, working in close partnership with the Commercial Department to drive the success of our biosimilar portfolio, with a focus on rare diseases and osteoporosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the European medical affairs strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
- Act as a strategic business partner to commercial teams, using scientific data to support market access, positioning, and sales strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with field medical teams, marketing, market access, and regulatory affairs.
- Serve as the medical expert for the region, providing insights and guidance based on clinical data and market dynamics.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment between headquarters and local affiliates.
- Represent the company at key scientific and medical congresses across Europe.
- Navigate the biosimilar landscape, leveraging existing clinical data to support commercial success
Qualifications
- MD degree is required.
- Proven experience in medical affairs within the rare disease and/or osteoporosis therapeutic areas.
- Strong understanding of the European healthcare landscape and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with commercial teams and contribute to business strategy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel across Europe as needed.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
