Under this contract, ManTech is providing operations and sustainment services for a hardened COTS-ECM application implementation which supports the collection of Service Treatment Record (STR) documents for a Service Member (SM) who is planning to separate. This separation STR is comprised of the following documents:- The AHLTA Web Print (AWP) file (contains all of the patients medical information/history stored in AHLTA)- Scanned paper medical records for the SM that are not part of the AWP file- Scanned paper dental records for the SM that are not part of the AWP file- DD 2963 Certification Memo stating that the STR is completeThe collection of these documents/files comprise each SMs separation STR. These documents are collected and converted to electronic format and are then stored in HAIMS to be made available to the VA to help reconcile any issues with the SMs benefits.several information technology environments and systems throughout the Defense Health Agency (DHA). ManTech provide operations and sustainment services in support of this contract. These services include, but are not limited to, server administration,system patching and application deployment support, data at rest support, technical writing, VMWare support, accreditation support, Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, and backup and storage services.This position for a summer Intern who will assist with the Program Management and Information Assurance activities to include peer review of contract deliverables, review of IAVA/B/M documentation for security compliance, and other duties as assigned.Peer review of contract deliverables, providing feedback to the Configuration Manager, or appropriate team personnel- Analyisis of weekly IAVA/B/M notices for security compliance and provide input as to their applicability- Assist with tracking milestone dates for Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAMs)- Assist with documentation updates for POAMs for the program- Provide daily activity reports describing activities accomplished and ongoing activities during the daily team status meeting- Communicate effectively both written and verbally with team members- Prior work experience on a DoD Health IT program- Experience in using the Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)- Experience working on a fast-paced and collaborative/Agile team, delivering high-quality products- Experience with written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment- Experience with reviewing technical documentation- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through- Ability to work with mnimal supervision and meet task due datesUS Citizenship required.QualificationsCurrent College Year Status: SophomoreDegreesHigh School Diploma or GED CertificateEquivalent Experience/EducationYears of ExperienceSee Qualifications
