Dark Light is a specialized data consultancy firm, focusing on project staffing within the domains of data and business intelligence. For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Solution Architect.
Responsibilities
- Initiating new projects by preparing validated project charters and ensuring a smooth transition to the Project Manager and project team at the start of the definition phase
- Developing the business architecture further from an enterprise architecture perspective through in-depth business analysis with a clear focus on project milestones and strategic alignment
- Helping the business understand the impact of strategic choices and enabling well-informed decision-making
- Actively involving business stakeholders in the analysis and validation of proposed solutions
- Aligning the business architecture with the IT solution architecture, and jointly communicating this integrated vision with the IT Solution Architect to the broader project team
- Safeguarding the coherence of the business architecture throughout the implementation phase of projects and programs
- Coaching and supporting colleagues in business, process, or functional analysis roles, and sharing your knowledge to strengthen the overall team capability
Outputs
- Develop the solution business architecture based on the strategic framework and enterprise architecture, aligned with key business milestones
- Prepare project charters that clearly outline scope, costs, timing, assumptions, risks, opportunities, and resource requirements
- Conduct both high-level and detailed business requirements analyses, including impact assessments on the organization, processes, and IT landscape
- Document and maintain the expected deliverables and artefacts as defined by the organization
Practicalities
- Two days per week at the office
- Freelance contract of 1 year
