Ask what & can mean for you.Responsibilities:Coordinate the daily activities of the Systems engineering team, managing priorities and ensuring tasks are completed on time in cooperation with the Manager, Systems Engineering.Develop evaluation boards and software (GUI) to communicate with the device and/or automate the test sequence.Verify proper performance of Allegro Power ICs through applications based testing in the laboratory and perform EMI tests.Create datasheets including main device characteristics and application recommendations, along with other deliverables needed for production.Learn the requirements and value propositions for customer applications in automotive, communications, and industrial markets. Become an expert in key application spaces targeted by the Power IC Business Unit.Generate application reports and reference designs to secure major design wins with Allegro chipsets.Support failure analysis engineers and field application teams to understand and resolve customer issues.Mentor and supervise junior and senior Systems Engineers.Requirements:BSEE or advanced degree in Electronic Engineering.6+ years of industry experience in Power converter application or Power IC design.Solid understanding of PMIC and/or switching regulator topologies, EMI mitigation techniques, PCB layout, bench testing, and familiarity with mixed signal semiconductors.Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, SIMPLIS/SIMetrix, LabVIEW; experience with switch mode power conversion and PCB layout preferred.Experience with electronics laboratory tools and test methodologies.Strong interpersonal and English communication skills as a technical team leader.Ability to deliver clear technical presentations to external customers and senior management.Note: The position may involve national and international travel, and our diverse customer base may require flexibility in work location and schedule.#J-18808-Ljbffr
