The Stroke Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with MD, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to provide professional,clinical nursing and technical knowledge, skills and expertise required for the provision and continuity of comprehensive neurological and stroke patient care. Assist with research, development and application of evidenced based nursing practice in the clinical area,patient and staff education and development and adherence of policies and procedures and overall plan of care. He/she functions as an expert clinician, consultant, educator and leader in the care of the stroke patient population.Minimum of two years nursing experience, including care of stroke patients.1 year experience in managerial or program development preferred. Working knowledge of performance improvement, licensure and accreditation requirements.Demonstrate good capacity for teaching, organizing, planning and development.Good critical thinking skills.Strong interpersonal communication and customer relation skills.Graduate of accredited RN school of Nursing.BSN. Graduate of accredited RN school of Nursing.Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, Outlook and Internet required.
