Field Service Engineer Rotterdam, Netherlands
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, experienced with various tools, and eager to take on technical challenges.
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our clients by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of Main Engine Remote Control Systems, including components for remote control and fuel supply.
Key Requirements:
- Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Work from our office in Rotterdam.
- Have valid visa permitting or have a valid EU residence permit to work in the Netherlands, along with the ability to travel within Europe and internationally outside the EU.
- I have a valid EU driving license.

Key Responsibilities:
- Travelling on-site to perform electronic and pneumatic system inspections, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Install and commission Nabtesco propulsion remote control and fuel-supply control systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring continued operation and maximum equipment efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams for continuous improvement and feedback on product performance.
- Document service activities and maintain records as required by Nabtesco Marine standards.
- Willingness to travel regularly for site visits, primarily within Europe. Weekend availability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree or certification in electronics, mechanics, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a field service or maintenance role preferred. Basic knowledge in electronic and pneumatic and ability to read technical drawings, further training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges. Ability to work with electrical/hand tools in accordance with the position.
- Language: Strong English level
