As they continue expanding their operations in the Netherlands, were searching for an accomplished Director to strengthen their Strategy Execution team in Amsterdam - Zuid. About the Role This is a senior leadership position within one of the consultancys most critical practice areas, focused on helping major clients address complex challenges with practical, insight-led strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in consulting, with over ten years of experience, and a deep understanding of how to deliver structured transformation in large, matrixed environments. Youll act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, developing long-term relationships based on credibility, delivery, and impact. Whether shaping multi-year transformation journeys or designing tactical roadmaps, youll bring structure to ambiguity and turn high-level goals into outcomes that matter. You will oversee project teams, lead client engagements from start to finish, and manage the full lifecycle of strategic initiativesensuring that analysis, communication, and execution are of the highest standard. This includes coordinating cross-functional workstreams, managing internal capabilities, and working closely with clients to guide them through periods of significant change. In this environment, leadership is not only about client deliveryits also about nurturing talent, contributing to internal growth initiatives, and playing an active role in the evolution of the Amsterdam office. Youll coach and mentor colleagues, contribute to the development of best practices, and support the firm''s ongoing expansion through your commercial acumen and network. Candidate Profile Were looking for someone who combines strategic clarity with operational rigour. Youll have a background in consulting, preferably including time at a global firm, and be confident leading diverse teams and interfacing with senior stakeholders. You should have strong conceptual thinking skills, a high level of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to create frameworks that translate into action. Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential, and a strong academic track record will be expected. Experience in one or more key sectors aligned with the firms practice areas will be a distinct advantage. Why This Role?
