Tasks and responsibilities:
As an IT Application Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and troubleshooting mainly for Blue Yonder Dispatcher Warehouse Management System which is one of the company''s core applications.
Your primary responsibilities will include responding to user inquiries, resolving software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of BY Dispatcher (JDA) across the global organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and some 2nd level technical support and training to Blue Yonder Dispatcher users, answering questions and troubleshooting issues related to system functionality, configuration, and data access.
- Diagnose and resolve user errors, software problems, analyzing error logs, reviewing system configurations, and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical support to users on other integrated applications. F.e. Customs (Stream), Apps (Apex), Reports (Ireport)
- Daily monitoring and solving of Boomi interface issues.
- Develop and maintain Knowledge Base articles to document common issues and solutions, providing self-service support to users.
- Work closely with other IT teams to implement changes and updates in projects and change requests to Dispatcher, ensuring optimal quality combined with minimal disruption to user operations.
- Support the implementation of new Dispatcher features and functionalities, assisting users in adapting to changes and maximizing the benefits of new enhancements.
- Maintain ticket status and progress in our ITSM (TopDesk).
- Test and approve integration and application development work.
Profile:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT application support, preferably with a strong focus on Warehouse Management Systems.
- Knowledge of SQL is a requirement
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve user -and/or software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tickets simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn and grow whilst Warehouse Management systems and flows
- Willingness to travel and perform on-call services.
- Experience in application and integration testing.

Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with surrounding applications (e.g., Transportation Management, reporting) is a plus.
- Experience other database technologies is desirable.
- Proficiency in TopDesk and various IT troubleshooting tools is required.
- Experience with using or servicing BY dispatcher users is a plus.
- Knowledge of Boomi middleware is a plus.
