This is how youll change the way people eat forever We are looking for a Finance Business Partner (Marketing) to support the Benelux marketing budgeting process, from initial planning to analysis. Using your financial insights, data-driven strategies, and process improvements, you will help shape the marketing strategy for customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation efforts within the Benelux market. As part of the Benelux Finance team, you will report to the Team Lead Controlling & FP&A and gain insights into all business areas of HelloFresh.
This is how youll make an impact
- Partner with the marketing department to be their go-to finance expert.
- Own the quarterly local marketing and revenue budget submission process to our headquarters in Berlin.
- Conduct budget cycle analysis: identify trends, discrepancies, uncover opportunities, and escalate to appropriate stakeholders for action.
- Anticipate and prepare possible scenarios for marketing budget allocation.
- Build and maintain a clean and clear budgeting process to minimize budget variances by developing a deep understanding of marketing budget drivers.
- Collaborate with the Accounting and Marketing teams to investigate budget discrepancies during month-end close.
- Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly revenue and spending reports, continuously improving the process.
- Execute ad-hoc projects as necessary.
These are the ingredients youll bring to the team
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an FP&A role, with experience in managing (marketing) budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and a deep understanding of ROI-driven business strategies.
- A proper understanding of Accounting fundamentals.
- A strong analytical mindset; you enjoy problem-solving and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and advanced Excel and SQL skills. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills: fluent in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with local and central teams and present financial insights to stakeholders at all levels, from Global C-suite to local operational level.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
