Calibration Engineer - AUTOMOTIVE, San Donato MilaneseSan Donato Milanese, ItalyRole: Calibration Engineer - AUTOMOTIVELocations: Torino, Milano, Modena, Reggio EmiliaResponsibilities:Calibration and testing on engine dynamometers for diesel, gasoline, CNG, hybrid, and electric vehicles.Vehicle calibration and defining combustion processes (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability.Diagnostic strategies, EOBD, troubleshooting, post-processing, and after-treatment.Programming vehicle tests, dataset analysis, calibration control, and release coordination.Preparation of comprehensive reports and technical documentation of tests.Requirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.Experience in bench calibration of diesel, gasoline, hybrid, and electric engines.Previous experience in engine experimentation and functional verification.Diagnosis of anomalies from bench tests, vehicle tests, or track testing.Good knowledge of engines, after-treatment systems, and ATS is preferred.Proficiency with tools such as ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power.Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink is a plus.Good command of English language.Why choose ALTEN?At ALTEN, you''ll work on cutting-edge projects with a focus on technological innovation, supported by a collaborative environment that fosters growth and knowledge sharing.
