THE ROLE:
Work closely with the Technical Lead to provide delivery estimates and manage tasks
throughout the development lifecycle
Support and develop projects from requirements to design and release
Ensure attention to quality, maintainability, performance and testing
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes,
optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers
and AWS regions
Manage technical optimization for maximum speed and scalability
Help shape company and engineering culture as an early-stage hire
WHO YOU ARE:
8+ years of frontend development experience with strong coding skills in React using Typescript
Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM framework) and Continuous Integration practices
Real-world experience developing highly scalable solutions using micro-service architecture
designed to democratize data to everyone in an organization
Degree in Computer Science, related field or a background in design
Ability to thrive in a highly demanding, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
Highly flexible, good tolerance for ambiguity, and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
A top performer with a proactive approach who has a doer & problem-solver mentality
An exceptional team player with strong communication skills
English proficiency is preferred but not required
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:
The expected starting salary range for this position in Madrid is between 50,000 - 65,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
