Role Overview
The Senior Director of Group Consolidation & Reporting will spearhead the companys global financial consolidation, close, and reporting processes. This leadership role ensures alignment with regulatory frameworks and audit requirements while fostering financial discipline, operational consistency, and a mindset of continuous improvement across the finance organization worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete group consolidation and reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Establish and uphold robust consolidation processes and internal controls to drive compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with global finance stakeholders, including FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and local/regional accounting teams.
- Deliver consolidated financial and management reports in accordance with IFRS and/or GAAP.
- Manage the reporting impacts of key transformation initiatives such as mergers, carve-outs, or system/process implementations.
- Act as the main liaison for external auditors, ensuring effective communication and smooth audit execution.
- Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within the consolidation and reporting landscape.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving financial reporting regulations and standards.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous development within the finance team.
Candidate Profile
- A Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience in financial consolidation or similar functions within complex, multinational environments.
- Expertise in IFRS/GAAP reporting standards and proficiency in consolidation systems.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational capability, and experience managing across global teams.
- Proven leadership in driving complex financial operations and guiding international teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to compliance, with a performance-driven and pragmatic mindset.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma is advantageous.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
