Our goal is to make every day a Perfect HSE Day, with no injuries, accidents, or harm to the environment.Partner with the bestAs the HSE Lead Specialist, you will collaborate with Service and Installation Managers and teams to reduce and manage risks associated with site operations. You will be responsible for strengthening our interdependent HSE culture.Responsibilities:Act as a subject-matter expert on HSE topics including emergency preparedness, health and safety risk assessments, and safe working procedures.Support preparation and reporting on key metrics such as Injury & Illness rate, concern reporting, STOP-work, and environmental KPIs.Schedule and maintain site inspections (including contractors) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Support and lead HSE investigations, implementing learnings from Root Cause Analysis.Maintain Government HSE compliance, reporting requirements, and manage the adoption of relevant policies and procedures.Support and execute HSE strategic action plans for the site.Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience in Services & Installation.Working knowledge of HSE management systems, local HSE regulations, and international standards.5+ years of experience in Health and Safety within the Oil & Gas Industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Availability to travel as required.Fluent in English and native/fluent in Italian.Good teamwork, mediation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.Work in a way that works for youThis role is a full-time, regular position based in the country.Working with usOur people are at the heart of everything we do at Baker Hughes.
