For our site in Collecchio (PR) we''re searchingfor a qualified and resourceful Senior Field Service Technician -USA. After six months to one year of training in Collecchioheadquarter, the employee will be relocated to our Hickory (NorthCarolina USA) plant. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS The Field ServiceTechnician must have experience in a manufacturing sector and beable to perform mechanical, electrical, and preferably electronicinterventions on complex automated industrial systems. They act asan interface with the customer for on-site activities and areresponsible for ensuring excellent service in terms of punctuality,precision, and effectiveness. They carry out periodic calibrationplans and scheduled visits at customer sites. They must beavailable for urgent interventions when necessary. In particular: -Perform post-installation assistance on very complex automaticmachines at customer sites. - Strong ability to troubleshootmechanical/electrical/electronic faults and install relatedcomponents to resolve issues. - Ability to use measuring tools forverification and calibration. - Competence in performingsmall/medium installations of additional plant components. -Willingness to travel frequently within the United States, eitheralone or in a team. - Participate in problem analysis andcontribute to defining action plans. - Contribute to continuousimprovement through accurate data collection and interventionanalysis. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS: - High school diploma inMechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineeringwith at least 10 years of relevant experience preferred. -Knowledge of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. - Basicknowledge of PLCs is preferred. - Basic knowledge of measurementand calibration instrumentation is preferred. - Strong written andverbal communication skills and the ability to interact withcustomers. - Ability to manage own work independently with theprimary goal of customer satisfaction, and make effectivedecisions. - Excellent listening skills and strong problem-solvingabilities. - Natural predisposition to teamwork, focused onachieving team goals. - The position requires experience,initiative, ingenuity, and the ability to work independently toproduce the highest level of quality and productivity according toestablished standards. Self-motivated and multitasking-oriented. -Good knowledge of computer systems. - Attention to details. WORKENVIRONMENT: This job operates in both an office environment and amanufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard officeequipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinetsand fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere tosafety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor. PHYSICALDEMAND: While performing the duties of this job, the employee isregularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequentlyrequired to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel andreach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required tosit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Theemployee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs andoccasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific visionabilities required by this job include close vision, distancevision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception andability to adjust focus. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Thisis a full-time position, Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm, withadditional hours as business needs necessitate. TRAVEL Frequentbusiness travels within the United States are required, forapproximately 80-100 days per year. After six months to one year oftraining in Collecchio headquarter, the employee will be relocatedto our Hickory (North Carolina USA) plant.
