Role: Pega Developer
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Onsite 3days/Week)

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Pega applications and components, including process flows, case management, data models, user interfaces, rules, and integrations.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain Pega best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide timely support for Pega applications.
- Optimize Pega applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to design and development standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Pega features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior Pega developers, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of reusable Pega components and frameworks.
- Work with deployment teams to ensure smooth and successful deployments of Pega applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing Pega applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Pega PRPC/Pega Infinity architecture, features, and functionalities.
- Strong experience in designing and developing Pega process flows, case types, data models, and user interfaces.
- Proficiency in Pega rules development, including activities, data transforms, decision rules, and validation rules.
- Experience with Pega integration services, such as SOAP, REST, and Connectors.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
- Experience with Pega frameworks (e.g., CPM, Smart Investigate).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Pega applications.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Pega Cloud.
- Experience in specific industry domains (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Insurance).
