Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA FS & QS Lead provides leadership at the Giotti Plant for the development, implementation, and administration of Food Safety, Food Defence, and Quality Systems programs to ensure product safety, integrity, and conformance with Customer, Divisional, Corporate, and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities include governance and proactive continuous improvements of Food Safety, Food Defence, and Quality Systems programs, including HACCP, cleaning, pest control, allergen management, foreign body controls, internal food safety inspections, non-conformance, and customer complaints.Key Responsibilities:Maintain compliance with Corporate Quality Assurance Policies and customer satisfaction by leading continuous improvements of Food Safety, Food Defence, and Quality Systems programs.Conduct routine reviews with the Factory Leadership Team.Manage the Food Safety, Food Defence, and Quality Systems Training program, ensuring staff are trained and understand their roles.Manage internal FS & QS inspection and audit programs to achieve required accreditations, leading continuous improvements and publishing monthly results and KPIs.Manage external customer and third-party audit programs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Oversee corrective action programs for internal and external audits.Handle customer complaints, internal, and supplier non-conformances, ensuring effective communication and resolution.Lead investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Identify and implement program improvements to enhance food safety and quality.Publish monthly KPIs and trend data.Attract, develop, and retain high-performing staff, setting performance standards and providing coaching and feedback.Create development and training plans for team members and manage employee relations.Candidate profile:Bachelor''s Degree in Food Technology or equivalent.Solid experience in the Food Industry, particularly in QA management.Experience with quality and food safety management systems and certifications such as ISO, HACCP, BRC, and IFS.Extensive knowledge of HACCP, BRC auditing, GMPs, Quality Systems, and Hygiene.Strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others.Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to handle complexity and adapt to change.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in relationship-building and negotiation.McCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
