Mechanical Supervisor – Construction – Solar Farm – Renewable Energy – County Kilkenny, Ireland – EPC – 12 Month ContractJob Overview:We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to support the delivery of a utility-scale solar project in Ireland. You will oversee the mechanical installation works on-site, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project and industry standards.Key Responsibilities: * Supervise all mechanical installation works including mounting structures, module installation, and cable management systems * Manage subcontractors and site personnel to ensure productivity, quality, and safety targets are met * Enforce HSE protocols and ensure all mechanical activities adhere to design and regulatory requirements * Conduct inspections, review method statements and risk assessments, and provide technical guidance where needed * Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to report progress and resolve on-site challenges * Attend coordination meetings and support planning to maintain alignment with project timelinesQualifications Experience: * Demonstrated experience supervising mechanical installations on utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects * Strong knowledge of racking systems, module mounting procedures, and tracker assembly * Familiarity with mechanical safety and quality standards * Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills * Right to work in Ireland (EU citizenship or relevant permit) * Previous experience on projects in Ireland is desirable but not essentialContract Details: * Contract Type: Freelance/Contract * Duration: 12 months * Location: On-site, County KilkennyThis is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile renewable energy project with a major EPC contractor, ideal for candidates seeking exposure to utility-scale solar projects in Ireland.To apply, please submit your CV
