Job Description The role sits within Global BusinessAssurance business line and it''s part of the Global ESG TechnicalFunction that leads the innovation, development and maintenance ofthe key resources within the Global ESG initiative to enable theadoption of climate and ESG related products and services in linewith the best-available knowledge and following best-practice forcertification bodies. The Global Technical Team is a key pillar ofthe Global ESG Business at SGS. It''s responsible for thedevelopment and maintenance of ESG products and guidance, acting asproduct owner for the key procedures and processes, includingcoordination across different affiliates and regional teams toensure their successful integration and implementation. KeyResponsibilities: As part of the ESG Assurance development team,you will participate in broad range of projects associated with thedevelopment of our ESG services, including product development,updating, person of reference, sales support, training (bothinternal and external), delivery project review and execution.Specifically, you will: - Support the development of content fordifferent ESG or Non-Financial Reporting services (Assurance andAdvisory), and support the SGS network of Executing Affiliates(countries) understand and promote these services. - Engage withleadership team members at Executing Affiliate level to supporttheir strategies of growth and help them develop capacities. - Actas product owner for the key reporting standards and relatedproducts, procedures and processes. - Develop and deliver producttraining to internal colleagues of the network to enable bothdelivery and sales. - Participate where required in projectdelivery, coaching and leading teams to generate greaterself-sufficiency at Executing Affiliate level, undertake technicalreview of ESG projects, act as an external champion for our ESGservices when needed. - Collaboration with global and Affiliatelevel Marketing and Sales teams and research into new marketopportunities to enable delivery of business objectives andspecific strategic target achievements, provide technical supportto sales teams, assist with proposal writing and salespresentations where required. Qualifications - Relevant UniversityDegree, relevant post-graduate technical qualification is a plus. -5+ years of experience in the below described areas, withindependent technical leadership and advanced technical skills. -Proven working experience in ESG standards and frameworks, internalquality management and compliance, internal and external standardsetting, science-based targets, evidence-based assessment forcompliance with standards. - Strong understanding of the driversfor and practical challenges of implementing organizational qualitymanagement strategies across businesses operations and globalaffiliates. - Clear or some understanding of ISO 17029, 14065,14066, 14064-3, 14019 (drafts), ISAE3000, ISSA5000,AA1000AP/AS/SES, principle based and guidance-based certificationand assurance standards - Clear or some understanding of GRI, TCFD,IFRS S1/S2, CSRD, Eco Vadis and other globally accepted standardsand frameworks - Experience of working within an internationalenvironment. - Results oriented, ability to handle multiple tasksand work in a culturally and geographically diverse and constantlyevolving organizational culture. - Ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision in a mostly virtual environment. - Wellorganized, fast adopter and attention to detail. - Excellent verbaland written communication in English.
