Electrical Specialist HydrodesulfurizationWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Specialist to join our engineering team in Rome, focusing on Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering for major oil and gas projects, particularly during the Pre-FEED (Appraisal Phase Studies - APS) and FEED stages. A strong background in both grassroots developments and revamp projects, especially involving licensed process units, is essential.As part of the owners engineering team, your responsibilities will include overseeing electrical engineering activities, ensuring compliance with licensor requirements, reviewing technical deliverables, and supporting optimization studies to facilitate safe, cost-effective, and timely project execution.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support the development of electrical engineering deliverables during the Pre-FEED (APS) and FEED phases of oil and gas projects.Perform independent reviews of Preliminary Design studies to ensure technical integrity and alignment with project objectives.Oversee and review contractor engineering work, including technical documentation such as Single Line Diagrams, Load Lists, Cable Schedules, Equipment Datasheets, and Specifications.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, instrumentation, mechanical, civil, etc.) to ensure design integration.Contribute to optimization studies to improve cost, safety, and performance.Ensure compliance with all relevant international and client-specific standards, codes, and regulations.QualificationsBachelors degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering roles for major oil and gas projects.Proven expertise in both revamp and grassroots projects, especially during Pre-FEED and FEED phases.Ability to independently conduct and review Preliminary Design studies.Experience working within or alongside owner engineering teams is highly desirable.Familiarity with engineering tools and software used in electrical system design and analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian or French is a plus.ProfitsEnjoy a rewarding career with opportunities for growth, continuous learning through exciting training courses, a community that values your ideas, and a respectful work/life balance.Join Life at SEGULACompany DescriptionSegula Technologies is a global engineering leader in energy, power, and oil and gas sectors, partnering with major industry players on flagship projects worldwide.
