Hays is collaborating with a global leader in light and sustainable habitat solutions, designs, produces, and distributes construction materials, providing innovative solutions in the growing markets of emerging countries, energy efficiency and the environment.We are looking for a Fluid Engineer.Which are the functions?Design activities during the project Design phase (PEM Steps 1/2/3)In case of a cold repair, analyzing together with the plant and DTI the existing installations and defining the project scopeAssessing the cost of the different options associated with the project scope definitionDriving the engineering companies during the design phase, defining their schedule and priorities.Organizing the due Design Reviews on his technical scopeValidating the deliverables of the Engineering Companies, including the 3D ModelTendering Phase and Manufacturing (PEM Step 4)Preparing the different Call For Tender packages (specifications, BOQ, )Aligning the technical offers received and making the offer comparison together with the procurement teamEnsuring a follow-up of the progress of the selected suppliers in their manufacturing, keeping a control over the expected delivery datesOrganizing the required Factory Acceptance Test with suppliersConstruction Phase (PEM Step 5)Managing the construction activities of the suppliers, managing priorities and ensuring a good coordination with other suppliers and the respect of the right EHS, Time; Cost and Quality standardsSurveying and monitoring the progress of the construction through S-Curves and other reportingManaging potential design changes and reworks for the different suppliers, ensuring the changes are recordedClosing all the open points on all equipment including purchase orders; contracts; eventual suppliers claims supporting the purchase department and finalizing handing over to production teamFilling and submitted the change requests related to the Fluid scopeWhich are the requirenments?Education: Mechanical EngineerKnowledge /Technical competencieExperience in EPCM project execution on the fluid and ventilation systems: Storage, Production, Distribution (piping duct)Experience in project fluids and ventilation designKnowledge of the principal project design tools: 3D Model, PI; Layout dwg, IsometricsKnowledge of the principal project control tools: Microsoft Project or Primavera, Microsoft 365 packageExperience on construction activities integrated in to an EPCM type of projectAbility to manage suppliers, site supervisor coordination and monitoring of the site construction activitiesSoft Skills and AbilitiesEase of communication and interaction in an international and multicultural contextGreat teamwork abilityOrganization and RigueurDecision-making autonomy and orientation to Problem SolvingDimensions:Depending on the nature of the project, the Fluid Package budget can range from 1,5M to 8MTravels / Mobility:During the project, the Fluid Package Manager should be located in the plant where the project will take place.Some trips possible during the project to visit Engineering companies or equipment suppliersWhat we Offer?Competitive SalaryLocation: AvilsOffice hoursWe are waiting for profiles like yours, passionate about technology and who want to face a new challenge.
