As a system engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, managing and continuously improving the Linux server farm, task automation via Ansible and the management of patient record databases (EPIC). Training and certification with the EPIC supplier in the USA will be provided.


Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Install, configure and maintain Linux environments in a production environment.

2. Automate processes using scripts (e.g. Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).

3. Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the application lifecycle.

4. Implementation and support of patient record databases (EPIC - Specific training will be organised in the USA).

5. Performance analysis: carry out in-depth analysis of system performance, identifying bottlenecks and proposing optimisation solutions. And work closely with development teams to improve application performance.

6. Documentation : maintain full documentation of monitoring configurations, alerts and intervention procedures.



Knowledge and skills:

- You have a Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in IT.

- You have at least 10 years'' experience in a similar role

- You are a Linux systems engineer with a good knowledge of databases

- Solid expertise in Linux/Unix environments (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu).

- In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MSSQL).

- Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and Git.

- Competence in system administration, virtualisation and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency in monitoring and log management tools (e.g. Nagios, Zabbix).

- Experience of scripting and task automation.

- Excellent problem-solving and priority management skills.

- Collaborative spirit and ability to communicate effectively with different teams.

- You have a good knowledge of Red Hat, Rocky Linux, etc.

- Good knowledge of virtualisation systems: VMware, Xen Servers, etc.

- Good knowledge of French and English
