About the position: Preclinical Formulations Laboratory TechnicianWe are looking for an experienced LaboratoryTechnician to expand the current Staff dedicated to the formulationof drug candidates to be assessed in preclinical safetystudies.About AcceleraAccelera is a Preclinical CRO (ContractResearch Organization) and offers unparalleled expertise inbringing innovative drug candidates from the Discovery to theClinical Phases.Over the years, Accelera has brought new productsand innovative therapies to the market, supporting overall morethan 300 Companies and Sponsors worldwide.Accelera operates instrict compliance with the International recognized qualitystandards (Good Laboratory Practices), to ensure the smoothestdevelopment of innovative therapies intended to improve the qualityof life of patients worldwide.Job Function TasksPrepare routinedose formulations for preclinical testing.Contribute to the timelyexecution of the experimental phases, providing GLP qualifiedformulation of the test item(s) under investigation.Contribute toformulation activities on test items provided by differentSponsors, and identify solutions in case of formulation issues(poor solubility, stability, drugability, etc)Take care ofequipment according to respective SOPs, and of full documentationof routine maintenance and repairs. Ensure full compliance with theGLP guidelines. Compiling GLP/no--GLP notebooks and documentsaccording to and the GLP guidelines.Keep full GLP compliant recordof delivery/use/archiving/transfer/destruction of testitem(s)Required QualificationLaboratory work experience ispreferred.An advanced degree in Pharmacy/CTF or similar ispreferred but not strictly required.Experience working in a GLPqualified facility is desirable.Good oral and written communicationskills in English are desirable.
