We are currently supporting our client in their search for a Senior Legal Director to join their team, based in Milan.This role will provide the full scope of legal activities to support the CEO, the origination, project development, construction, and O&M teams in the Renewable Energy division of the company. It will work across Europe, so experience working across Europe or on an international level is required. The role will also manage a team of two legal counsels.Responsibilities:Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of contracts to support the Green Assets Division in meeting their business growth strategies and objectives.Supporting the development, harmonization, and application of group policies across subsidiaries and managing corporate governance issues.Supporting the expansion of the Green Assets Divisions renewables portfolio across Europe, including M&A activity, due diligence reviews, post-merger processes, and integration.Managing all legal aspects related to the development and construction of utility-scale renewable projects across various European jurisdictions, including Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, and Romania.Managing relationships and budgets with external legal partners, including local law firms, and overseeing their services effectively.Key Skills:Legal degree from a leading law school; an LLM (Master of Laws) is highly desirable.Approximately 10 years of experience, preferably with some in-house experience.Experience managing legal teams is desirable.Experience in the energy industry, especially renewable energy.Excellent command of English; proficiency in Italian or German is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
