YOUMAN, an executive search and recruitment firm, is assisting a major international organization headquartered in Switzerland in the recruitment of a Senior Research Manager. The position involves coordinating global research initiatives on environmental and human health impacts of materials and manufacturing processes within a complex, chemistry-intensive industrial value chain connected to the mobility and polymer materials sector.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a candidate with a strong scientific background ideally holding a PhD or MD in chemistry, chemical engineering or environmental science and with at least 8 years of experience leading multidisciplinary research projects. It is essential to have the ability to interpret scientific studies related to abrasion emissions, environmental impact of materials and chemical substances, and risk assessment, and to coordinate scientific workstreams involving international partners (consultants, academics, subject-matter experts).

The role is based in Geneva, with an option to be based in Amsterdam, and requires frequent international travel (up to 50% of the time).
