Our client is a SaaS start-up/scale-up that build an all-in-one communication solution for customer service. The company has +/- 100 people, of which half is the technology department. Furthermore, they are utilizing the AI revolution, rapidly integrating and embedding different AI solutions (multiple already in production) for their product. We are looking for a principal engineer to join the new to form innovation team. This team will focus on rebuilding some of the core services of the product, detaching them from the monolith (which is in PHP). Furthermore, the team will rebuild some of the services with LLM/GenAI, for which the fundaments of the database, application and platform (AWS) need to be created. The team wil hire 3-4 people this year and the idea is that the principal will be the technical lead of the team, setting the roadmap, ensuring efficiency and being the advocate for the team and in the company on all things AI. This means you are in the leading building the actual AI products, as well as creating a strongly culture on AI adoption companywide! 10+ years experience in software development ~ Strong experience with multiple languages, Python and NodeJS amongst them. Furthermore, experience with PHP would be helpful as this is a big part of the monolith ~ Experience rebuilding database and application landscapes for high-volume and real time data transferring. ~ 60 days working abroad/remote yearly HSM Visa 30% ruling available, no relocation funded/offered
