The Role:
We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our pre-opening team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of People and Culture, this role will foster a culture of continuous learning and lead the implementation of both local and corporate development programs. You will play a key role in building organizational capability, enhancing employee experience, and supporting performance through learning.
What will you do:
- Design and implement learning strategies aligned with hotel and corporate goals
- Facilitate leadership, team development, and upskilling programs across departments
- Lead onboarding initiatives to ensure a smooth integration of new hires for all levels.
- Identify training needs through data analysis, feedback, and business performance
- Champion a culture of service excellence and lifelong learning
- Act as a strategic business partner to both operational and leadership teams
- Identify and implement learning and performance improvement strategies that support the hotels strategic direction.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in Learning Development roles within hospitality or luxury environments
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into learning solutions
- Knowledge of modern learning platforms and digital tools
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Experience in adult education and adult learning concepts.
- Understanding of People Culture (HR) systems and how they integrate, such as recruitment, selection, compensation, performance management.
- Understanding of basic budgeting, accounting and financial management.
