You will be: architect and execute application migrations to GCP containerizing and deploying to the GCP cloud (Kubernetes, VMs), lead migration initiatives from on-premises systems to modern cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal service disruption, architect and execute live update strategies, managing planned downtimes with minimal business impact, manage multi-platform environments spanning Linux, Unix, and Windows systems, implement automated deployment pipelines for continuous delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migrations. Your profile: +5 years of experience in platform engineering or cloud infrastructure (GCP), strong expertise in application containerization (Docker, container security, optimization), proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and Helm package management, proven track record of successful application migration projects, experience with database administration and migration (Oracle, PostgreSQL), proficiency in Python, C, and Java programming languages, hands-on experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows environments, demonstrated expertise with web servers (Tomcat, Apache), strong background in API integration and development (REST, SOAP), experience with database connectors and optimization techniques, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams, self-motivated learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Nice to have: deep understanding of authentication systems (SSO, LDAP) implementation, experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments, background in zero-downtime deployment strategies, familiarity with cloud cost optimization, understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
