About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design, installation, and commissioning of biomethane production plants across Spain and Italy. This role is key to ensuring the mechanical integrity, efficiency, and compliance of our renewable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review mechanical systems for biogas plants, including piping, pressure vessels, pumps, and gas treatment units.
- Support procurement by defining technical specifications and evaluating supplier proposals.
- Supervise mechanical installation and ensure alignment with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, process) and external contractors.
- Conduct site inspections, FAT/SAT, and support commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with EU and Spanish mechanical and environmental regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Energy Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering for industrial or energy projects.
- Proven experience in biogas, wastewater, or renewable energy plants is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and mechanical calculation software.
- Strong understanding of pressure equipment, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
- Fluent in English; Spanish and Italy is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Spain and Italy.
- Valid drivers license.
