The Civil Engineer will support the structural engineering team in the design and development of civil works and steel structures for Oil & Gas plant projects.
The role involves the drafting of technical solutions, calculations, and preparation of execution drawings, as well as the preparation of technical documentation and quantity estimates.
Duties & Responsabilities
- Design of reinforced concrete foundations (proposal and drafting of the technical solution; calculation reports and execution drawings);
- Design of steel structures such as pipe racks, platforms, walkways, pump houses, guard houses, etc. (proposal and drafting of the technical solution; calculation reports and 3d modelling by means of Tekla);
- Preparation of bill of quantities and material take-off;
- Preparation of drawings using AutoCAD (civil works layout, retaining structures, roadworks design, drainage layout, etc.);
- Preparation of technical reports and assessment documentation.
Required Competences
Essential Qualifications:
- Good to excellent knowledge of Tekla, SAP2000, and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Good knowledge of English (minimum level: B2).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Ability to interact with civil department team members and, occasionally, with Client representatives;
- Knowledge of Tekla software;
- Knowledge of Idea Statica;
- Familiarity with FEM-based structural design software (SAP2000, STAAD);
- Good knowledge of Italian language.
