As our operations in the Netherlands continue to grow, we are expanding our freight division with two dedicated positions :

• Sea Freight Supervisor
• Road Freight Supervisor

This role was originally opened solely for sea freight operations. However, with the increasing volume and integration of multimodal transport, we are now also hiring a separate Road Freight Supervisor . Each professional will focus on their respective domain while collaborating for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee sea or road freight operations (depending on role), ensuring alignment with approved customer quotations.
• Liaise with shipping lines, co-loaders, trucking companies, and relevant partners to manage transport activities.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations for sea or road freight, engage with overseas agents and partners.
• Ensure smooth coordination of transport flow based on confirmed bookings and customer requirements.
• Maintain continuous communication with clients regarding shipment status.
• Foster strong relationships with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ensure accurate data entry in systems, including load details and pre-alerts.
• Monitor customs procedures for both import/export shipments and ensure compliance.
• Conduct profit-loss analyses, ensure invoicing accuracy, and support finance in invoice approvals.
• Generate regular operational and financial reports for senior management.
• Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
• Support the maintenance or acquisition of relevant certifications (e.g., NVOCC for sea freight).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, specifically in sea or road freight operations .
• Relevant certification such as NVOCC (for sea freight) is preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory. Additional languages are a plus.
• Deep understanding of the local Dutch logistics market and customer expectations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively and represent TLS with integrity.
• Residing within a 2030 km radius of Rotterdam .
