Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst specializing in Energy Trading and Trade Lifecycle for a long-term contract based in Solothurn. The role involves analyzing and optimizing the entire value chain from trade capture to physical delivery, operations, and settlement.
Your responsibilities include:
- Applying end-to-end process thinking to map and improve trade processes.
- Engaging with stakeholders across trading desks, operations, and IT to investigate business processes.
- Identifying inefficiencies and automation opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
- Ensuring documentation is clear, transparent, and scalable.
Required experience and skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the energy trading sector.
- Knowledge of front-office trading and ETRM systems (e.g., Endur, Allegro).
- Ability to think holistically across different functions.
- English language proficiency.
Soft skills:
- Strong attention to detail and comprehension skills.
- Excellent self-organization and time management.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
