Innoitaly is looking for an APPLICATION ENGINEER for the new office located in ROVERETO (Trento)
Responsibilities
- Follow various phases of product development, such as Architecture definition, Specification definition, Test plan implementation, and electrical characterization/validation of the devices
- Contribute to the definition of new products by leveraging knowledge of new applications as the main factor for innovation
- The candidate will have continuous interaction with customers through meetings/calls and on-site support and will also prepare the required documents (such as Application Notes and evaluation board) to facilitate product design and promotion at the customers
Qualifications
- Masters level degree in Electronic Engineering or PhD
- English fluency and basic Italian
- Strong technical knowledge in analog and digital electronics
- The ideal candidate is a team player who works well in collaborative situations and challenging environments;
has a strong problem-solving approach, results orientation, a sense of urgency, and proactivity skills - Previous experience
- Since most of the jobs will be conducted on the bench, good laboratory skills and/or attitude are required to work in a laboratory environment.
- In addition, he/she shall know industry-standard software for PCB design and simulation (Cadence, Orcad, Altium, etc.) and software tools to aid the automatic characterization/validation process (Labview, Matlab, etc.)
- A methodic approach into the execution of the required tests is needed as well as knowledge sharing with our stakeholders/Technical Community
