This role will support the accounting manager and the financial manager in daily accounting tasks. We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Milan.Key responsibilities:Support general financial programs and policies to achieve the implementation of functional policies.Assist in executing financial transactions, ledger maintenance, and accounting reports.Perform processes within General Accounting and Period Closing.Handle Intercompany Accounting activities, Fixed Assets accounting (specific areas), and Fiscal books.Collaborate with functions and GBS on financial data entry, ledger maintenance, and reporting.Support GBS in delivering services by resolving exceptions, sharing local business requirements, especially in Accounts Receivable, credit blocks, credit limits, collections, and disputes.Monitor processes under GBS responsibility.Serve as the SPOC for fiscal matters with external consultants and coordinate related activities.Assist the Finance Manager in Treasury management, cash flow activities, and coordinate with external lawyers on A/R collections/disputes.Qualifications & skills:Extensive experience in general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, including VAT audits and reconciliations.Good knowledge of tax issues, working with external consultants, and understanding of local VAT regulations and related concepts.Knowledge of IFRS standards.Experience in Treasury management.Bachelor''s degree in business or related field.Strong experience in multinational environments, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Team player.Proficient in Office, especially Excel.What we offer in return:A diverse and inclusive work environment.Competitive compensation with bonuses and benefits.Personalized career development through feedback loops.Opportunity to grow within a company that values ownership and accountability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
