He/She must adhere to safety and cost-effectiveness criteria, contractual requirements, and international codes and standards. Key Activities Responsibilities include: Review of contractual documentation Material selection, including corrosion rate evaluation, selection of appropriate material grades, and defining requirements for corrosive fluids Protective coating/lining application, including specification definition, vendor review, and inspections Corrosion monitoring setup and management Cathodic protection design and implementation Risk-based inspection planning and management Corrosion inhibition and chemical treatment management Chemical cleaning processes Providing support during design, construction, and commissioning phases Personal attributes required: Masters degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or similar Material and metallurgical expertise relevant to petrochemical, power, fertilizer, and oil gas industries Willingness to travel to sites and vendor workshops 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred Tecnimont is an EPC contractor specializing in Oil Gas, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, and Power sectors, with a strong track record of complex projects and a focus on safety and quality.
