Senior Manager - Assurance & Reporting

Altum Consulting are currently working with a top-tier global investment firm to hire an Assurance & Reporting professional at Senior Manager level within their Amsterdam office. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a high-calibre private equity environment, supporting assurance, control, and reporting across a wide range of fund structures and investor needs.
Sitting in the global Assurance Team, you''ll be the central point of contact for internal and external audit activities whilst driving the quality, accuracy, and integrity of financial reporting and control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end audit processes, managing relationships with auditors across multiple fund structures
Review and enhance financial statements and capital accounts (US GAAP, IFRS, Lux/Dutch GAAP)
Advise on accounting treatments and disclosures for complex investment structures
Oversee internal controls environment and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance control design and effectiveness
Support strategic reporting initiatives, investor communications, and process automation
Guide junior team members and contribute to the long-term scalability of reporting systems
8+ years'' experience in audit, assurance, or related financial control roles
Experience within asset management, private equity, or from a Big 4 audit background
CA, CPA, RA or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, and analytical skills
Experience with audit oversight, internal controls, and reporting frameworks
