Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for a Project Manager.As part of a Commercial Operations Team, the Project Manager is responsible for engineered centrifugal pumps supply projects throughout the entire "quote to cash" process. The bidding phase includes hydraulic selections, technical alignment, cost estimation, and supporting sales during the final customer negotiations. During project execution, the Project Manager acts as the main contact for the customer and is internally responsible for time and cost management by collaborating with all involved teams.ResponsibilitiesRole tasks include but are not limited to:Managing the customer relationship from bidding through project completion.Analyzing customer Material Requisitions (MR) and project specifications.Selecting suitable pumps for the customer application, involving the product engineering team if necessary.Handling customer technical queries, clarifications, and deviations to finalize project scope.Supporting the technical alignment of engineered subcomponents such as seals, systems, drivers, lube oil systems, gears, and control panels.Evaluating and selecting pump configuration options to define total item cost.Preparing the quote package with relevant attachments as per customer requests and internal procedures for submission via the sales team.Verifying the coherence of purchase orders received from the customer.Launching and coordinating the project from the internal kick-off meeting.Monitoring project schedule and KPIs to implement corrective actions if deviations occur.Controlling project costs by reviewing purchase and production orders and taking corrective measures as needed.Supporting the Credit Control department in cash collection, claims, and financial forecasting.Managing potential Change Orders from cost estimation to quote submission.QualificationsBachelors Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, with engineering knowledge and experience in the engineer-to-order process. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Proficiency in English. Project management experience is a plus, especially if supported by relevant certifications.Computer SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (including databases, development, order processing, project management, spreadsheets, word processing).
