Robert Half is currently recruiting an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join a company active in the oil and gas industry. Our client is located in Antwerp. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Addressing and resolving IT breakdowns such as failing switch/server/Azure/windows server and offering application support. Monitoring the capacity of systems and ensuring the availability of backups. Implementing and regularly updating security measures. Executing software upgrades and hardware refreshes across our global fleet. Driving continuous improvements to ensure alignment between IT and business needs. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: A Bachelor''s degree in Electronics or an IT-related engineering field. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support. Proficiency in Azure (IaaS, virtual networks, virtual servers). Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Veeam, and Linux. Solid expertise in networking (L2/L3 switching and routing protocols). Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and general security. Familiarity with ITIL practices for managing IT service processes. Experience with scripting languages. Highly developed troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration skills.
