We are seeking a proactive and experienced Bid Manager to join our clients team in Antwerp. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic, global environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create tailored solutions for our clients.
Your Role:
As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive proposals for technically complex products and services. Your role will include ensuring the quality and accuracy of quotations, supporting the sales process, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and organizing detailed quotations to align with customer needs and company goals.
- Developing technical and commercial solutions in collaboration with specialized departments.
- Conducting preliminary cost assessments and participating in pricing negotiations.
- Leading contract negotiations and facilitating agreements within established guidelines.
- Acting as the regional liaison for bid management, ensuring effective communication between customers, agents, and product centers.
- Maintaining key customer and supplier relationships during the bid process.
- Following procurement guidelines and creating clear bid comparisons for decision-making.
- Supporting the sales team by fostering strong client relationships throughout the bidding process.
- Facilitating smooth project handovers to the project management team.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal obligations, and industry standards.
- Utilizing tools like MS Office, Teams, SAP, and CRM systems for efficient workflow management.
Your Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in the turbo machinery or industrial sector.
- Fluency in Business English and Dutch (mandatory); additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, SAP, and CRM systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in bid management or project management within a multinational environment.
